McMinn Realty Welcomes Tommy Jones

by Lee McMinn

McMinn Realty is proud to welcome Tommy Jones as the newest agent to join the team.

Born and raised in Durant, Mississippi, Tommy brings deep Mississippi roots, decades of professional experience, and a steady, people-first approach to real estate. A 1985 graduate of Mississippi State University, Tommy joins McMinn Realty after retiring in March 2026 as a Division President in banking, closing out a remarkable 43-year career built on relationships, trust, and service. The last 32 years of that career were with Renasant Bank, a Mississippi-born institution with a long history of community banking.

For buyers and sellers, that background matters. Real estate is rarely just about property. It is about timing, family, finances, risk, opportunity, and the next chapter of life. Tommy understands how important those decisions are, and he brings the kind of careful listening, good judgment, and steady guidance that clients appreciate when the stakes are high.

Tommy and his wife, Sandra Lee Kilpatrick Jones of Philadelphia, Mississippi, have two children, Casey and Katie Lee Hines; a son-in-law, Thomas R. Hines Jr.; and a grandson, Thomas “Randolph” Hines III. Family and community have shaped Tommy’s life, and those same values will shape the way he serves clients across North Central Mississippi.

Please join us in welcoming Tommy Jones to McMinn Realty. We are excited to have him bring his experience, character, and servant-hearted professionalism to our team and to the clients we are honored to serve.
